OPENION – Education for a strong democracy

OPENION is a Germany-wide project of the Deutsche Kinder- und Jugendstiftung (German Children and Youth Foundation), funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth as part of the national program “Live Democracy!”. The program provides children and young people the opportunity to test out modern forms of democratization and learn how they can play a meaningful role in shaping democracy.
The program was launched in October 2017, and our role was to develop a corporate design concept that would appeal to project leaders and young people alike. We look forward to accompanying the German Children and Youth Foundation with the implementation of the communication media through 2019.
The corporate design is as vibrant and versatile as the project itself. Clear messages are set in bold signal colors that are combined with the correspondingly suitable logo. Black-and-white images and elegant infographics serve as a counterbalance to the striking use of color surfaces.
An information flyer/poster, a press kit and presentation template were among the first applications of the new corporate design.
The project was presented to partners and the public at the official launch event.
